Hierarchy Of Vision
The impact-driven leader needs to know and clearly and consistently communicate the answers to three questions:
Why do we exist?
What do we stand for?
Where are we going?
Today we are focusing on vision: where are we going?
There are three stages of vision:
Survival
It’s ok to start in survival mode; it’s not ok to stay in survival mode.
If you aren’t thinking past tomorrow, no one else is
You have to earn your way out of survival mode
Service
The impact-driven leader recognizes that the things that are making their business effective in this season may be the things that limit them in the next.
What actions are you taking today that your team will be grateful for next year?
Expansion
Your greatest contribution occurs when you operate from a posture of expansion.
Expansion-oriented leaders apply themselves to the discipline of projecting a future just beyond their comfort zone.
